Discourse of Reality: Temperality & the Moment

Reality is a vision with which people impsose what they will. What is truly interesting about reality however, aside from the question ‘what is it?’, is how it can be portrayed. Through the medium of photography it is possible to capture a moment of reality, of temporality which has a durational quality of your choice. In the viewing of this moment, its qualitative temporality is extended, manipulated and altogether changed throughout its existence.

This series of photographs, grouped under the title “Discourse of Reality: Temperality & the Moment’ highlight the discourse between perceptions of reality. Each contain a qualitatively different duration than the next, but are however related through their means.
